I know this is probably a day late and a dollar short, as they say, but I just gotta throw in my two cents on Dr. Jeremiah Wright's sermon or anyway several other people's two cents's with me shouting "Amen!" every third word. If you want to know what I thought about what the good Reverend said and how Obama distanced himself from it, just read this and this and this. And that oughta do it. Reverend Dr. Jeremiah Wright Jr. is the truth!! Here's how you know that something is the truth....nobody wants to hear it!! They cannot consume it like they do the lies and watered down explanations of their existence that is handed to them on a regular basis. Amen!!
I also thought I was alone until I read those essays that you mentioned along with a few black bloggers. My white sociology professor has declared the same thing!
